The handrail system with balls is suitable for designing
The special features of the system are stainless steel ball joints that make handrail installation easy, particularly on stairways, and the "aluminium core" of the wooden handrails that stabilises the handrails and increases their bending strength. Suitable stainless steel ball ends round off the appearance of the handrail system with balls.
The wooden handrails are made from high-quality solid wood, and the surface is coated with a highly resistant 2-component PUR lacquer.
The stainless steel ball joint of the system opens up new design options. It is the flexible connecting element for wooden and stainless steel handrails or a combination of both.
Connected handrails can now be continuously aligned by 90–270° in any direction.
The stainless steel ball joint is quick and easy to adjust, and is therefore even adaptable to seemingly complicated wall and stairway layouts.
Handrails made from wood are equipped with an aluminium tube as a core insert, the so-called "aluminium core".
The "aluminium core" stabilises the handrail and prevents distortion. The additional bending strength allows greater distances between the handrail brackets.
An internal thread is cut into the aluminium tube. Bends, straight sections and connection pieces can be incorporated with a perfect fit.
Attaching wooden handrails to each other or to wooden bend elements is even easier using plastic or brass stud bolts. They are screwed into the threads of the “aluminium core” at both ends. The "aluminium core" and the stud bolts therefore provide the individual components with a secure seating.
In order to cover cutting edges, the stainless steel length connectors are inserted between the wooden handrail elements.
Mounting wooden handrails
Stainless steel roses connect the wooden handrail and the stainless steel ball joint or ball end to each other firmly in a positive-fitting way. They are installed between the stainless steel ball joints or ball ends and the wooden handrails.
The stainless steel ball joints are fitted to the stainless steel handrails using coupling joints.
A pre-milled guide groove makes installation and linear positioning of the handrail brackets on the wooden handrail easier.

Stainless steel must not be used in conjunction with normal steel. No tools must be used that have been previously used to process iron or steel.
Mounting handrail brackets to the wall
Adjustable handrail brackets are recommended for uneven walls. Inaccuracies and differences can be re-adjusted for with adjustable handrail brackets within the range of ±4 mm (height) and max. 10 mm (depth).

– drill pilot holes in wooden handrail with drill bit Ø 3 mm
– screw handrail bracket to wooden handrail (countersunk head screws 3.5 x 25 mm)

– drill pilot holes in wooden handrail using twist drill bit Ø 7 mm and the drilling template, countersink holes
– screw handrail bracket into pre-drilled holes, the threaded pin of the handrail bracket cuts a thread into the handrail and through the wall of the aluminium tube
