We only evaluate this information for statistical purposes.

  • Date/time of the request
  • Pages from which the file has been requested
  • File names called up
  • Amount of data transmitted
  • Access status (file transmitted, file not found)

If you disclose personal or commercial data via the contact forms, we will only use this within the purpose specified.

Google Analytics

Since the agreement between the Hamburg data protection and freedom of information officer and Google on the basis of the decision of the Düsseldorf group for data protection compliant design of analysis procedures for range measurement of web sites, it has been possible to use Google Analytics in a data protection-compliant and complaint-free way under certain conditions. Of course, we adhere to these requirements. We would particularly like to point out that Google Analytics has been extended by the "gat._anonymizeIp();" code in this web site in order to ensure that IP addresses are recorded in an anonymised way (so-called IP masking).

Please note the following information concerning the use of Google Analytics:

This web site uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and which make it possible to analyse the use of the web site. The information that is generated by cookies about the use of this web site are usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this web site, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting member states of the agreement concerning the European Economic Area. The full address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this web site in order to evaluate your use of the web site, put together reports concerning web site activity and in order to provide the web site operator with other services associated with web site and Internet use.

The IP address transmitted within the scope of Google Analytics by your browser will not be combined with other data by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by making an appropriate setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that you may not be able to make full use of all of the functions of this web site in this case. You can also prevent the acquisition of the data that is generated by the cookie relating to your use of the web site (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in that is available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

You can prevent acquisition by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set which prevents the future recording of your data when you visit this web site: Deactivate Google Analytics

Further information about usage conditions and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

We use this cookie technology to tailor our web sites to preferred areas of interest. If you would like to prevent the use of cookies, you can refuse to accept them in your browser. Details of how this works can be found in your browser manufacturer's instructions.

Social Plugins

Use of Facebook and Twitter plugins on the "About Häfele & Social Media" page

If you call up the "About Häfele & Social Media" page, so-called social plugins ("Plugins") of the Facebook social network and the Twitter micro-blogging service are used. These services are provided by Facebook Inc. and Twitter Inc. ("Providers"). Facebook is operated by Facebook Inc.,1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). Twitter is operated by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA („Twitter“). An overview of the plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins and https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons.

If you call up the "About Häfele & Social Media" page on our web site, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook or Twitter servers. The contents of the plugin are transmitted directly to your browser by the respective provider and incorporated in the page. By incorporating the plugin, the provider receives the information that your browser has called up the relevant page of our web site, even if you do not have a profile on the respective social network or are not logged in at the time. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook or Twitter, the providers can directly assign the visit to our web site to your profile on Facebook or Twitter. If you interact with the plugins, for example the "Like" button or the "+1" button, the relevant information is also directly transmitted to a provider server and stored there. The information is also published on the social network and your contact details are displayed there. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the provider and your rights and setting options in this respect for protecting your private sphere can be found in the data protection notes of your provider.

If you do not want Facebook or Twitter to assign the data collected via our web site directly to your profile in the respective social network, you must log out of the relevant network before visiting our web site. You can also prevent the loading of the plugins completely using add-ons for your browser, e.g. using the script blocker "NoScript" ( http://noscript.net/).
