At Bau 2015 in Munich, Häfele is highlighting its 360° project expertise with eight specific solutions for different challenges and customer requirements. Performance capability with regard to know-how and service can be experienced step by step, demonstrating how the Häfele project team can facilitate and simplify everyday operations for anyone involved in construction. This clear display of competence is supplemented by access control, sliding and door planning products that are new or have undergone further development. This time, the product highlight on the booth 311, hall C4, is a new generation of the successful Dialock electronic access control system. Dialock 2.0 is intended to be simple to scale, install and operate, and easy to customize and network. You can discover this new electronic opening and closing simplicity for yourself at the Dialock gate on the Häfele stand. This is where the new generation of the transponder-controlled, contactless access control system from Häfele development is making its début.
DT 700 | DT 710: New door terminals with the best price/performance ratio
The new Dialock version is being launched under the motto of Dialock 2.0 “Easiness Inside”, and is made easy to use by the customer by means of wireless solutions and the integration of remote maintenance, among other things. As well as the further development of the software, Häfele is presenting two new door terminals: The DT 700 as a long backplate version, and the DT 710 rosette variant. This new generation of door terminals has been made possible by a well though-out system of technology, programming and use of materials, combined with optimum design. The terminals are also extremely interesting to the hospitality industry because of their attractive price. Häfele is presenting an electronic key, a card with which everything is possible and with which everything works extremely easily: contactless opening and closing from the entrance door to the hotel room or to desks in offices as well as in clinics. A system is being introduced that via the respective interfaces works in perfect harmony with all other popular security and entry or access control systems. It provides made-to-measure security from family hotels or five-star hotels to hotel chains, from retailers to supermarkets and also for exclusive shops in the international luxury goods market. Anything is possible with Dialock 2.0, and it is also flexible and extremely reliable. Evidence of this can be found throughout the history of Dialock, and Häfele has been a pioneer for contactless locking with this system on the market since 1997.
More scope with sliding doors and system doors – Häfele innovations
Four new developments on the subject of sliding doors are available in another area of the stand. Among other things, the new Slido Design 80-M is being exhibited here. This sliding door system provides the entire passage width when it is fully open, and can be used for sliding doors weighing up to 80 kg. Since no hardware whatsoever is visible, the doors appear to float – an extremely elegant design solution. Häfele is also exhibiting an all-glass solution without frame for the Silent Aluflex 80 system and a Slido Classic version with integrated mounting plate. This makes it possible to have a filigree 3-4 mm gap, which is much appreciated by designers. As well as the “asepticDoor” for hygiene-sensitive areas, three new system doors round off Häfele's exhibition display. These are Häfele's response to the latest building trade inquiries and requirements. This is the reaction to the increasing number of break-ins in the private sector as far as entrance doors are concerned. The so-called door for “multi-functional buildings” fulfils special Facility Management requirements by means of simple modification options, and there is also the door for heavy duty use specially developed for public buildings, in which extremely long-lasting products are installed. Häfele gives a 25-year guarantee on the latter. These complete doors, which have been on the hotel market since 2012, for example, originate from cooperation with different brand manufacturers such as JELD-WEN, Herholz, BOS Best of Steel, Pfleiderer and Resopal. The advantage of the door packages: the individual elements are perfectly coordinated with each other, and the system responsibility lies with one partner.
Integrated know-how for streamlined processes on the construction site
Once again, Häfele is presenting itself at the exhibition as a reliable partner for architects and builders with integrated planning and process optimisation know-how on the construction site. Häfele impresses project partners all over the world with new ideas and solutions for additional functionality, convenience and security in furniture, rooms and buildings. For many of these business partners, the comprehensive and probably unique wide range of fittings for furniture and construction is another good argument for intensive collaboration from the conception to the realisation of a project and even beyond during everyday operations. “Our philosophy is to make optimum use of rooms with multifunctional equipment and providing them with convenient security with modern access and entry concepts in the best interest of the customer”, says Udo Jungebloed, Head of Domestic Projects, Sales and Planning Department at Häfele.
