Kesseböhmer and Häfele join forces to take over the lift fittings and sliding door systems business units of Huwil

Customers will benefit from synergies

(28/08/2009) The furniture fittings and architectural hardware experts Kesseböhmer, Bad Essen and Häfele, Nagold, will jointly assume ownership of the lift fittings and sliding door systems divisions of Huwil Werke GmbH, Ruppichteroth, and the manufacturing facility Huwil KFT in Budapest from Titus International, Great Britain effective September 1, 2009.

In a joint press release, the new owners announced that sales functions and operations will continue as usual. Huwil customers will receive personalized updates and information about operational details and any future changes to existing procedures.

Both hardware experts, Häfele und Kesseböhmer, conduct business around the world and expect that the business synergies resulting from this joint venture will prove to be a market advantage for the new company as well its customers. Both companies have strong international sales organizations and a high level of expertise in development, manufacturing and procurement. Huwil customers will benefit from an expanded portfolio of products and from fiscally sound suppliers and manufacturing partners. The existing product range, which is well received in the market, will continue to be developed and therefore the lift fittings and sliding door systems from Huwil will have new and bright futures under this new ownership arrangement.
