Häfele at ZOW in Bad Salzuflen from 25th to 28th February 2008: New ideas for architects and interior designers

(04/02/2008) Häfele is presenting some surprising solutions for architects and interior designers at this year’s ZOW, the furniture industry supplier exhibition in Bad Salzuflen. As an active partner, Häfele is also involved in the exhibition’s Architecture Lounge.

Sliding doors are in vogue – either as flexible room dividers or for use in walk-in wardrobes. The Silent Aluflex sliding door system from Häfele creates new, fascinating possibilities for the use of rooms and furnishings. A wide variety of design options are opened up by a selection of different door panels, making it possible to choose the latest up-to-date finishes. Completely new additions to the range are integral transparent or semi-transparent natural materials such as reeds, leaves and blossoms. A concealed soft-closing mechanism ensures that the sliding doors are closed in a gentle and quiet manner.

Conceptional room studies on the stand also demonstrate how optimum functionality can be implemented in furnishings and buildings, the main focus being on solutions that are consistently oriented to the individual requirements of the end user. As an addition to this, Häfele is presenting the Mercedes-Benz Museum project in Stuttgart within the scope of the ZOW “a-net” lecture series together with the responsible architect. The company accompanied all hardware aspects of the project with its “360° Project Service”.
